Checking out NYC’s Coolest Observation Deck

Every Christmas, my family and I take a holiday trip to New York City. It’s a pretty magical time with shining lights, festive markets, and so much to do. This year, the best part of our trip was visiting the SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt. It was an unforgettable day!

SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt is this amazing observation deck in Midtown. The elevator ride up was so cool, and when we got to the top, the views were just insane. You could see everything—the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, all of it looking like something out of a postcard. It was a clear, sunny day, so we really got to see the city in all its glory.

One of the wildest parts was walking on the glass floor. It’s called "Levitation," and stepping onto it felt like floating over Manhattan. I was kind of freaked out at first, but then it got fun! Looking down and seeing the streets and cars so far below was totally surreal—like a dream.

We also went out onto the rooftop, and even though it was freezing, it was so worth it. The chilly breeze and the view of all those skyscrapers made it feel like we were on top of the world. There’s just something about NYC that makes you feel so alive.

My family—my mom, dad, and older brother—always loves these NYC holiday trips. We eat out, shop, walk around, and just soak in the vibe. This year’s visit to SUMMIT added something really special. Sharing that moment with them made it even better.

If you’re ever in NYC during the holidays, you have to check out SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt. It’s not just about the views—it’s an experience you won’t forget. This city always surprises me, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our next trip!
