Snowflake the elf has lost her gifts for the woodland animals and needs your help to find them! Along the Snowflake Trail, you’re invited to help find her hidden treasures in a creative, winter-themed video scavenger hunt!

Through the forest behind Cub Run Rec Center, snowflake markers have been set up along a trail with QR codes. Each code will show you a video clue of what’s been lost nearby. Some items may be off-trail, behind trees, or on fallen logs!

The Snowflake Trail starts at a kiosk at the Cub Run Rec Center circle just across from the center’s main entrance. Then, it follows a loop trail through the forest and other habitats back to the center’s parking area. On both paved and mulched surfaces, the trail is just less than a mile long and features multiple stops. This unique, fresh-air event will be available until January 31, 2023.

This self-guided opportunity is free; no entry pass is needed to participate.
