10 TIPS to help you study

Midterms are coming up, here are some tips to help you score well on your assessments.

  1. Start studying at least two weeks before your exams

  2. Schedule several short 45-minute study sessions instead of one long one that's going to burn you out.

  3. Plan your study sessions ahead of time, this way you don’t have time to procrastinate.

  4. Choose to study during the times of the day when you feel your best

  5. Find a quiet, well-lit area where you can focus and get in the zone.

  6. Gather everything you need for your study session, feel free to grab a snack and some water as well.

  7. Summarize the materials you learned in class, spend more time on the harder topics

  8. Carefully go over the suggested approaches/ways to study, while learning the assigned material

  9. Redo any challenging exercises or ones you may have skipped on your homework

  10. Make sure you find the answers to any questions you encounter while studying.

Reward yourself after a successful study session
