Nonverbal ways to tell someone you love them

Sometimes, verbally telling someone we love and care about them isn't as meaningful after repeating it again and again. Here are some things you can get to make sure the people you adore are aware of it…

  • Candles

    •  There are wide varieties of aromatherapy scents based on what you want. (ex. Lavender for stress relief, rose to reduce anxiety and boost your mood, and peppermint to make you feel energized)

    • Having a candle lit by your side when completing tasks sets a more positive and calming environment

    • Aromatherapy scents stimulate your senses and calm your body and mind

  • Journal

    • You can't say all your thoughts out loud and everyone needs an outlet to get everything off their chests

    • Your loved ones may not know the significance and positive results writing down your feelings produce

    • After writing in my journal I feel free and at peace of mind

  • “Care Bear “

    • Teddy bears are universally known as a symbol for affection

    • You can get your friend a bear in their favorite color

    • Whenever they see it they'll be reminded that they are loved

  • Hand written card

    •  When notes are written by hand they are much more sincere and impactful

    • You can make a list of the reasons you love your friend

    • The things you say may seem obvious, but everyone appreciated being validated

  • Playlist

    •  Make your loved one a playlist consisting of songs that remind you of them, or that you know they'd enjoy

    • You can turn the link into a QR code by using an online QR code generator, and then print it out for them to have easy access to the playlist.
